Economy Lighting ...  part of the Illuminations Lighting Group...  
In 1975, Illuminations Lighting Solutions Ltd. (then Lightway Lighting) opened its doors to help consumers select better lighting solutions  for their homes. From those beginnings the business evolved  to include trade professionals (builders, architects, electrical engineers and designers) that select and  provide lighting solutions for their clients and development projects.  For nearly  35 years, Illuminations has thrived and reinvented itself on a continuous basis to  improve service and customer satisfaction levels, becoming one of  Canada's more prominent lighting suppliers.   With hundreds of trade  customers and a large and loyal set of consumers visiting its  stores  every day, Illuminations continues to gain industry recognition and realize its  growth opportunities.  

The arrival of the Web....  
In keeping with the need to continually respond to customer and trade professional needs, Economy Lighting (an affliated company) was launched to specifically support the "Builder Market" for high quality products at attractive prices available to order over the web.  Economy Lighting  has from the outset been set up to be an "On-line business" to serve the builder  and trade professional specifically but not exclusively.   General consumers are welcomed here and many are  referred to Economy Lighting by their builders during new construction and/or  during renovation projects.

With a "Web First" business model, an "outlet style web fullfillment centre" and a planned network of "web agents" we expect Economy Lighting to continue it's rapid growth with a goal of becoming the major on-line supplier of lighting peoducts in Canada.
