Product Center

There is a lot happening at the Economy Lighting Product Centre. Aside from working pretty hard to provide the best levels of customer service, we regularly meet with many suppliers, both existing and new to review product selection with some tough criteria such as:

• Which products are of exceptional quality
• Which products are packed properly for web-shipping
• Which products are “Manufacturers close-outs”
• Which products offer lower than normal pricing opportunities
• Which products are “trendy” and up to date in design
• A review of container purchases to bring volume pricing to our customers
• And most of all, which products provide the most significant value for our customers.

With thousands of products to choose from, we focus on design coupled with quality and value pricing. We seek out opportunities to purchase quantity lots so that we may pass savings on via our WEB STORE and OUTLET CENTRE. As products are selected and arrive they are divided into three broad product sets to provide an easy to understand shopping environment.

SET 1- Primary Products: These products are primarily available from our WEB STORE but for
those who prefer personal shopping are also available from our OUTLET CENTRE. They are
usually available for many months as the product goes through its normal life cycle until
discontinued by the manufacturer . This product set provides exceptional value “day in and day out”
and is the choice of many builders where budget value coupled with quality and design are
important attributes in the selection of their lighting.

SET 2 - Close-Out Products: These products are “end-of-product-line” closeout inventory.
Quantities are generally limited to a few hundred or less and once they are sold, there is no
opportunity to order (hence the term “close-out”). While shopping on our WEB STORE look for
the SPECIALS button on the menu bar in the shopping page. These products offer the best value
as they are priced at a fraction of the original retail price and often less than the original cost.
For those that prefer personal shopping “close -outs” are are also available from our OUTLET CENTRES.

SET 3 - Job-End Products: These products are transferred to Economy Lighting from
the Illuminations Lighting Group Affiliated companies and are usually the last few items of a
particular contract job (Job-Ends) or returned items that has been inspected and repacked. Due to
limited quantities they are available as a personal shopping opportunity only at our OUTLET CENTRE.

SET 4 - Light Bulbs: The Illuminations Group is one of the largest suppliers of light bulbs and Economy Lighting
is often a first choice for many property managers. Light bulbs are offered at web-prices on our main WEB STORE
site. For those that prefer personal shopping Light Bulbs are are also available from our OUTLET CENTRE.
